Yoz... This blog is about the poor performance that happened during a mock competition for CCA. u see, my competition was a group performance with 5 other people. We were supposed 2 go in sync with the music: Pirate's of the Carrabean- He's a Pirate. At the start, one of my senior was supposed 2 leapfrog over me, he pushed 2 hard on my back and i stumbled ( heng didn't fall). But i missed the beat where i was supposed to roll 2gether with the others... luckily i caught up in time. The middle part wasn't 2 bad, but wen we were supposed 2 'da ting' (jump up from the ground 2 a sqatting position from a lying position), my senior forgot 2 say 'zou' (go) and we totally messed up the music sync. Of course, it was not all my senior 2 blame, if i was more 'shou lian' with the moves, i could hav caught up with the moves at the end... but anywayz the whole thing was a disaster... wen we did our ending pose (freaggin cool, but not so at that time, messing up the whole thing) our 'jiao lian' (trainer/ instructor) told us 2 get down from the stage: 'xia! xia! xia! kuai dian xia tai!' aka scram, i dun wanna see you. I could tell from his expression that he was embarrased, angry and dissapointed, which is pretty reasonable seeing how much time and effort he put in 2 create this 'tao lu' and teach us... i was very suprised myself as we had also put in alot of effort in practising the moves... The whole team is gonna get screwed on the next CCA day.... T.T
